I like them both.
I found Thomas's dwindling African accent annoying though and the fact that his brother and sister both had strong British accents.![]()
His siblings are much younger so could have been in UK for most of their life, and developed the accent.
Skins has dramatically dropped in quality. We had some fairly wild parties in 6th form but I think Skins pushes it a bit far. And yeah, Thomas' accent was poor. Mind you, they're in Bristol and, as far as I know, they don't sound like the Skins cast do for the most part; clearly accents aren't a priority.
Shameless is also on the decline I feel, though still thoroughly better than most drivel on TV.
I've never really followed Shameless, but the last season of Skins was fantastic after a mediocre first and second series. Looking forward to more of the new cast.
