Bourne Supremecy blu-ray won't play on PS3

I just tried playing The Bourne Supremecy blu-ray on my PS3 and it won't go any further than the lanuage selection screen! I also have the other 2 Bourne films and they play fine in my PS3.
I've tried the disc in my laptop and the film plays without any problems, so its obviously a problem with my PS3. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've got the box set and haven't had any problems on my PS3...

does this film connect to the net for interactive stuff/updates? maybe try it without a net connection to the ps3?

is it region locked

i know u get as far as menu but what does it do look up ot report error ? etc

This must have been the problem, as none of the Bourne films would work until I turned off the internet connection.

Hmm, they all worked on mine with net connected etc.
Got access to another PS3 you can try? Could be the disc.

needs a hard reboot turn it off at the back and take out power cable wait 30 secs then put it back in..... coz mine wundnt play and after 3 attempts of just normal on and off.. did this & this worked for me

Im thinkin firmware too,although it would probably tell you when turning mn if there is an update available
