Didnt really like it as a game myself, I know people rave about it and all, but as a story I liked it, I liked the atmosphere of it, but as a game I found it very dull.

I didn't really have a dissapointing game in 09. I didn't get round to playing much but what I did I enjoyed. Mostly consisted of Dead Space and The Witcher EE though.
Fallout 3 - So very very poor as a sequal to two of my favourite games
Warhammer Online - The Orignal one that was in production should never of been canned!! But they had to jump on the WoW band wagon and go cartoony on us!
MW2, was totally looking forward to this then the no dedis happened and i couldnt even bring myself to buy it!
Regarding people saying Far Cry 2 - why? The game looks beautiful, only issue i have is it gets a bit repetitive but is basically like GTA in the Serengeti
Far Cry 2 here as well. I did get some enjoyment out of it, but it fell utterly short of what I was expecting. Was also the reason that I've never read another issue of PC Gamer since.
fallout 3, not because it was bad. I just thought I'd get into it more, but just found i wondererd round not really doing anything and gave up after like 6 hours.
Surely Far Cry 2 would be a much more relevant choice if you were posting 18 months ago? It's last year last year now.
For 2009, Duke Nukem Forever as my candidate for the biggest fail in gaming history. Honourable mention to MW2, but I was never that bothered about it, so I can look on that whole debacle with mild amusement.
