Pyjama woman speaks out... Dear oh dear...

Should be illegal to bar people for the clothes they wear, it has no legitimate reason.
It's like saying bar black people because we don't want those darkies in our shop, cluttering up the place!

If you wanna bar chavs, no one would have a problem, but this is just stupid discrimination, stopping someone driving up to tescos in their pjs for a pint of milk at 2am, just wrong.

It's a private establishment - there is nothing wrong with having some standards.

It's just like saying "No shirt, no shoes, no service" it's just trying to have a level of standards.

PJs are made for bed, and slobbing out at home. Not for outside and going the shops.

Rich

This.

I get around, would you go to Tesco or anywhere else for that matter wearing pyjamas?

Everytime i've seen someone wear pyjamas out in public I've also witnessed people look at them and then say to their friend "******".

Have some sodding class and self respect for christ sake.

"What time was it?"
"About half ten, eleven o'clock like - I only popped in for a packet of fags"

LOL just LOL. I stopped listening at that point.

She sounds like a nice intelligent sort of girl :p

The funny thing is she really cant see why its a problem. I would go out on a limb and suggest that she has never in fact had a job, and assumes its normal to lounge about in PJ's all day.

I can't see why it's a problem either. In Australia it's not unusual to see kids dressed in pjs while shopping with their parents at night. I once walked to my local deli in my pjs and dressing gown (admittedly, that was in the morning; not the middle of the day). I even brought the mug of coffee I was drinking at the time. No big deal.
