TSO Host - Best support ever

Has Gmail been up 99.9% in the last year? ;p

No, but it doesn't claim to have a 99.9% SLA (at least not on the free version) ;) :p

IIRC a few of the early issues were due to the new nature of the technology being used. TSO have proven to be very reactive in resolving these issues. I can only imagine it being a good year for the system now it is more mature.

I wanted to balance this thread out with some negatives about TSOHost....but I couldn't find any ;)

Whilst we are inflating egos of forum members and hosts ;) I would mention Vidahost for their cracking service and support also :)

Well, that I'm aware off. The three restarts happened within a time scale of 2 months. So if we follow that trend over the course of a year...

Agree with the price. Non the less, times can get stressful when you have a sales team selling a service, which is down without warning.

i understand, i have 50 + websites, so when it goes down i get 50 + phone calls.

when i suggest an alternative (100%) uptime with the cost they soon change their mind.

having said that, if you know of reletivly cheap 100% uptime hosting let me know.

There's no such thing as cheap 100% uptime hosting, the only way to do it is to distribute servers in different places and then have it redirect if one goes down. It's not the easiest of jobs.

thats what i thought...

hence why i dont complain about 99.9% uptime.

It doesn't exisit. TBH you'll probably see better uptime with the likes of TSO, Vida etc than you would in paying $$$$$$$$ for a "100% uptime host".

Things happen regardless of the SLA's and kit involved.
