Iiyama 27" B2712HDS

yeah i seen but u was using a high-end 24" screen that why this screen would look poor to u..

i'll be using it with my 28" which is 1920x1200 res, so should i get this Iiyama 27" B2712HDS monitor which is 1920x1080 res or get the Iiyama Pro Lite E2607WS-1 26" which is 1920x1200 res???

If you can afford the extra £50. I think the B2712HDS looks a much better monitor, and has the added HDMi connection, which sounds more future proofing than the E2607WS-1

do u think i should get another 28" monitor, i know the backlight bleeding is poor but for gaming it'll be better?

Whats in an inch? does the 27" B2712HDS have better features for what you require, over buying another Hannspree?
Hannspree 28" is 1920x1200, Iiyama 27" B2712HDS is 1920x1080, so thats a problem?
but the Iiyama 27" B2712HDS has better Contrast Ratio

It does sound like your leaning to the Iiyama, which is the one I would go for as well.
the 1" doesn't matter to me but the Iiyama 27" is 16:9 at 1920x1080 and my Hannspree 28" is 16:10 at 1920x1200, some people as told me both monitors needs to be the same res to do a one big screen for gaming. true??I was asking you if the 1" is such a big difference for you

i know i could drop the res down to 1080 on my Hannspree 28" but it'll look alittle weird.
Are there any technical differences between the B2712HDS and the E2710HDSD?
Reason: was reading a review and it was about to buy the B2712HDS but did not want to pay an extra ~£50 for the swivels stand and HDMI port which is the only difference that I have found between the two said monitors.

the ACR Contrast is different, also the speakers wattage.
Thanks, I'm assuming that the ACR contrast is the "dynamic contrast" which is only useful for films (if at all)?

if you are decided on a 27 monitor.. check the samsung 2770HD which also works as a TV
and the 2709m from hp.
Me personally I am still not decided whether the 26" with 1920x1200 or the 27" with 1920x1080 is the way to go.
the 26 has a pixel size of 0.27~0.28 where the 27 goes up to 0.31
this is something that will make a difference on text reading..
unfortunately I have not seen a 27 from close.
I find it really hard to decide where to go.
From one point I am thinking that paying 300 for a technology which is 2-3 years old already is not worth it.
and again.. LG just announced OLED monitors
