...without little &%*&%**$*%$*&% who you cannot even say/do anything to with their parents start taking a liking to damaging peoples property.

Some people might find having an affinity for keeping your paintwork decent 'sad' and utter that "It's only a car" but screw them.

Getting back into my car after being parked on-street and hear an almighty racket. Some kid with his mother has decided ot get a handful of gravel from a plant pot and sling it up the side of my car.

I mean, seriously?

You cannot even do anything, as much as I wanted to throttle 'it'. My paintwork is soft enough as it is without a point blank showering with granite chips. Will get a good idea for the damage when I next clean it -_-

Rant over.

PS - I hate kids.

I have a good shout on me. I'd have made the little 'tard cry without the need to get all keyboard warrior on it.

Feel for you on the Honda soft paint, hopefully it hasn't done too much damage. Should clean the mothers windows with that plant pot tbh :D

Car has muck up the side, I could not evaluate damage on the side of the street and I do not even want to THINK about having insurance involved if I got her to pay.

Not like I can shout at a 3 year old in the middle of town, just not worth the damn hassle.

Kids don't react to adults anymore these days, he would have probably just laughed at you if you started shouting.

With his mother seriously feel for you, whats her problem, never the less i agree with the rest, although if you've seen them do it and you don't have a problem doing it there's a good crim damage charge there depending on the age of the child of course.

Did you confront them or just watch them walk away?

If so, was the mum apologetic? Did she give the kid an almighty telling off?

I confronted them.

She said sorry, and told the kid in the calmest voice I have ever heard in a telling off "No, bad."

Wow, that sure taught him.

read the OP 3 times now, still can't understand it :( :p

Kid throws gravel at OPs car.
OP confronts mother.
Mother apologises.

Crap situation but it is just life. Like when a **** opens their door into your car when you are parked in a car park.

Accept it like the good Englishman.

That's why I have a mac 10 in the glovebox, and it hasn't happened since!
