It depends on the quality of your line and how far away you are from the exchange, the closer you are the more chance you will get the faster speeds.

Yeah, £28 is just awful for uncapped/unmetered 50Mbps FTTC, providing a nice rock solid 6MB/sec 24/7. Just terrible...

I'm approx. 4.63km from the exchange straight-line, actual line length is insane thanks to the way Burton is laid out.

yeah my family who live in Winshill (ashby road) can't even scrape a meg from the line, glad I moved to Swadlincote I connect at 10mb even on a 43dB line, most of the lines are copper here.
