Cleaning wax off carpet?

Ok so i spilt some blue wax on a red carpet. Its not looking good.

Any tricks?

Scrape it off when it's dried. Then use some generic carpet cleaning stuff.

Hot iron and brown paper is said to work for getting wax out of clothes.

Put ice cubes on it to make it harden then pick it/brush it off?

oh wait, as above with the iron and brown paper. You just need to heat it up and blot the wax out.

Heat it up and try soaking it it up with some sort of cloth?

Iron and paper is definitely the way to go.
