If anybody has not played either and is thinking of this deal i say one thing.

FC2 is rubbish, bought it for a fiver and I still feel ripped off. Shame really, because if they'd fixed/improved a few things (like weapon damage, hit detection and the insane ability of enemies to seemingly hit you from a mile away), it'd be fairly decent.

I really liked the overal game, especially multiplayer, i never really ot wound up over the respawning mobs and can got over the odgy AI but what really ****ed me off was that they never bothered with an SDK so the peole who didnt like that sort of stuff could fix it.

Me too, gave me 40 hours of play time.
Just ignore the fact that the armed checkpoints are annoying, respawn far to quickly and all will fire on you no matter which faction you are doing a mission for.
A bit like COD SP games are great if you ignore the nade spamming and the useless team AI.
or the Aliens in Crysis.
or the enemies that always respawn behind you in Doom 3.
or a bit like the vast majority of great games, there is always a few niggles or annoyances.
far cry works on vista 64bit, tho i did have to get a unoffical patch, as the computer unit kept cheating and shoot though walls and tents

I booted up FC1 the other week to see if there was any MP action going on and there still is!
Had a good game and reminisced.
