New Just Cause 2 trailer

Looks fantastic.

Anyone played the first Just Cause, saw it cheap the other day and was tempted to pick it up but haven't really heard anything about it.

Personally I loved the first one, booked a few days off work (ala pulled a sicky) because I got that engrossed in it.

Can't wait for number 2, holding a few reservations about that grappling hook as the majority of trailers have shown the character using that pretty extensively. Having said that, it could be just a way of the publishers showing off something new.

If you're wanting a good game with plenty to do but don't mind above average graphics and sound, then yeah, the first one is a must buy.
 
Still got the first one in my collection to play though, can be had for peanuts so its a no brainer really. From what I have seen of the second, it just seemed OTT to me - especially the grappling hook. I know the first one was unrealistic but the second one just doesnt seem to appeal.
 
The first one was a strange one for me. It was one of those games where I didn't really do many missions at all, just messed about a lot. Flying as high as I could and parachuting out and falling for ages.

Thanks J think when I've finished with Bioshock 2 (when it comes!) I'll give this a blast.

Think the map looks awesome, looks a bit like it could be the size of San Andreas in the new trailer. That harrier type plan certainly looks tasty.
 
Apparantly the map is 12 times the size of GTA4, which is crazy.

Good news about the demo, read last night that one was coming soon.
 
Certainly looks good, then again to me Just Cause 1 looked amazing, then I played it and really felt let down, mostly by the combat/aiming system, which mullered the rest of the experience for me :(

This does look great though and I'll definitely be getting it, looking forward to it, I just hope it works out :D I really do!
 
Looks like the videogame equivalent of a Jason Statham movie: Objectively not that great but just absurd enough to also be hilarious at the same time. I can't wait!
 
I hated the first one when I got it on release but I picked it up for a fiver the other day and I'm really enjoying it. The car controls are flawed but I've gotten used to them now.

Even with my previous hatred of the first I'd been looking forward to the second since the first few videos hit.
 
I've been looking forward to this since I first saw it announced.
Looks like properly OTT silliness which is what games should be like:D
 
wonder if its going to be way too far fetched to the imagination like the first, i.e jumping from a boat into a helicopter 100ft in the air!

edit: wtf did he do with that fire extinguisher on 0:37 :D

looking sweet though :)
