Best way to send a parcel to Spain?

Just sold an item to someone in Spain, is it cheap to send via royal mail from the postoffice or does anyone know of a good courier service?
 
yeah just checked up on the website and the do it signed for but only tracking in uk? is this ok?

I put on my listing for abroad bidders to contact me before bidding to ask about postage, so i was going to sort it out if the bidder gave me an address so that i could give them a price. The bidder didn't and made a last min bid, i made this thread in the search of a good simple cheap way to send to spain as i didn't have time to trawl the net. Seem's a bit daft having to explain myself and even more daft posting without the intent of supplying any relevant information :P

Hey I wasn’t being patronising :) I have being stung before sending items so always check first before selling and list where I don’t post to, make it much easier that way.
