Don't go shopping on a saturday. They will hit you!

If there's no damage to paint (or minor damage use T-Cut) then just have the crease removed with PDR - although it can be surprisingly hard to find in this country.... Ask the guy who hit you for the £50 or so it will cost to have removed.

some homeless person rubbed against me in the stret so i rushed home and burnt all my clothes and washed myself in bleech

I think you're right. You should definately sell your car because of this. Be sure to advertise it as accident damaged though - it's only fair.

So i'm not sure if i should bother informing my insurer. Don't these things normally go 50/50 anyway? Theres not really any damage to repair, i'm sure a bodyshop would laugh at me but maybe a paintless dent removal man would understand? I also don't want my insurance going up for no reason.

Of course you should claim. You were stationary, he reversed into you!

You're overreacting a tad here. :p

My only concern is that if he asked you if you were happy that there was no damage and you didn't actually point out the damage and there were no witnesses then it effectively goes his word against yours and you may not be able to make a claim as easily as you might think....

No harm in phoning him up to ask him about it. You can inform your insurance but you don't have to claim if you dont want to, it just covers your backside if you decide to and they turn around and go "you didnt tell us within the time stated on your policy" blah blah blah.

You have a nice car and its understandable you want it fixed, just try and find the cheapest way possible, insurance might get it fixed for you, but you'll pay later when your premium goes up.
