Warranty replacement

Hello all just wondered about a graphics card i've been offered as a replacement from another company

My Sapphire card ATI Radeon HD 3650 512MB GDDR3 failed the other week which was just coming up to two years old and lucky for just inside the warranty

the company who i got it from have offered me a There name ATI Radeon HD4650 512MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI PCI-Express as a replacement so is this a fare replacement for my old card

You could always ask for better, saying yours had DDR3 on it but TBH it's a fair swap.

I think the 4650 DDR2 is slower, and the warranty replacement rules are the same, better or refund.

4650 has over twice the core spec, but 16GB/s RAM compared to 25.6GB/s on the old card - not sure if it would be enough to impact on the core performance - off the top of my head tho I'd say it needed ~22GB/s to fully use that core spec.

DDR2 or not, the 4650 is much faster than the 3650 so its better...
