Its very very close to the design of the new M5 (And, one would hope, the F10 M Sport).

That mirror will be much bigger, i guarantee it.
Popped into the BMW dealer today to pick up the brochure on the new 5, and all BMWs have these ridiculous mirrors now, along with Audi, etc.
So expect those ones to go i'm afraid.

They look absolutely ridiculous on the 1 series, i don't understand these regulations
