..and what do points make???

The SP50 might be an issue as its not as common as SP30, but as others have said, your insurance shouldn't be affected too much from it. Used to run 100s of quotes for the company I worked for and stuff like speeding or mobile phones really didnt have an impact. Dangerous / careless driving on the other hand..... cha-ching :)

Nothing for me, I have 0 and points make bugger all difference here on insurance ( points are only for losing your license for the first 5 years for serious offenses, people who have had their license for longer can't get any points, insurance companies also don't know how many points you have) , you only get them for serious offenses too not for minor speeding offenses :D.

You drive more carefully in future?

What's the view like from up on that pedestal?
It's very clear and the air is nice and fresh up here, thanks :)

Most people say their speeding points don't make too much difference. Better watch you don't clock up another 3. Since you've already had 3 chances, now might be the time to start slowing down a bit? ;)

6 points from my ridiculous IN10 three years ago is making my chances of getting back in a 200SX non existent. When I was 18 I was prepared to pay £2000 for insurance but not any more :(
