When are LG gonna stop using rubbish resisitve screens?

I saw an advert for the new LG GW620 intouch and thought it might be pretty good.With it being an android phone.
So I looked for a review and found one on techradar http://www.techradar.com/news/phone...on-lg-android-intouch-max-gw620-review-649968 it has a resistive screen and a strange mix of android and LG's S-class interface(which is a bit poo).
Seems pretty pointless to me :confused:

The pulse was also cheap and that had capacitive.Just seems strange they aren't using them yet.

The pulse has a much worse camera with no flash. It's all swings and roundabouts.

i'd take a good capacitive touchscreen over any sort of camera every time.

what are you going to be using more often? the camera, be it crappy or just lousy, or the touchscreen, the phones only user interface?

Resistive doesn't mean its bad... the resistive touchscreen on the xperia is far superior to any capacitive screen - aside from the fact that if the display is on and its in your pocket thats going to keep setting stuff off but I don't have that problem personally.

I think the fact nearly all the big companies use capacitive now shows you the way things are going, resistive aren't as good to use.

Nothing wrong with a good resistive screen, it just wont be as good as a capacitive one.

That depends, do you wear gloves? I find that especially if it's smaller then you need it to be resistive so you can use a stylus.

i'v used the iphone and have ipod touch (capcaitive) but think n900 is btter feel for me which has resistive touch, perfect to click those small links with tip of nail lol

Yes, bigger gloves than you think, I work in - 30 for long periods.
I take them off, as I do when I have to use the work mobile.
