BC2 BETA... Your thoughts and SCREENSHOTS of it

Depends if your good. If you're in a good position (I don't necessarily think the rocks are the best place) then you can cover the fixed turrets and anti-tank missile launchers.

I'm talking two snipers max in seperate locations.
 
I hated the snipers at first, but really dont mind them now, i go sniper hunting now and its good fun, especially if thats what the rest of your team is doing, i like to call in mortar strikes on them, sometimes i'll mortar a loan soldier lol or go knifing if your on a team that you know are only in it for a bit of fun and not bothered about objectives.

But then you will join and find the game is being played properly and the attackers are attacking and the defenders are defending and there good games aswell.

I think it just down to what you join and you just gotta play along with the rest of the team else if you dont you go round looking like rambo and end up on suicide missions trying to blowup objectives on your own lol.

So, basically you can have three or maybe more types of games on the same map and its keeping me still wanting to play another round.
 
My new grievance is people on a hill that's normally inaccessible don't know i how to get up there :confused::(

ok i can only really fly things using my joy.... but when i have the joy plugged in my character wants to continously turn to the right... any ideas???

There are two ways i know of how to get up there (if that's the second part of the map).
First way is behind the big building in the first section (back left if you're a defender) run up the hill near the corner.
Second way is from the side you're standing on, quite near the edge of the map (pretty much top left of the mini map in your screenshot) just run up.
Me and Lyon were up there earlier with some ammo sending a barrage of grenades onto the two buildings.

Walked upto a guy defusing the bomb i just planted, emptied an entire mag into him from point blank (f2000 spam machine) only for him to still somehow defuse it (and not die) and some other nub to shoot me 3 times with a pistol killing me. :rolleyes::mad:

That f2k does seem pretty pointless anyway, doesnt matter the situation you always seem to come off second best when using it, be it from range or close quarters.

I quite like it, i usualy try to fire single shots which are very accurate. Using it with the red dot sight is good too :)
 
omg at the people still complaining about the lag....
consoles = demo
pc = BETA

When the game is finally released it wont be so laggy/demanding. It fustrates the hell out of me people expect a beta to out perform there expectations.
 
I'm really liking the game, and on PC *shocker*, but I'm having a bit of a performance issue.
I have a 8800GTS and running on Windows 7, my performance should not be THAT bad should they? But I'm having slowdown etc.. chaning graphics quality does not seem to change much. I heard fixing dx9 use might help but when I do that the game just crashes.
 
So far I found the PS3 demo to be smoother than the xbox one (yes I have played both)

However I've been playing the beta on PC and it's a far better experience with the sharper gfx and it just feels nice running at higher fps. Modern warfare 2 is great to play on a console but BC2 in my opinion just feels right being played on the PC.


I can't wait for the final version with the bugs and lag ironed out. The game just blew me away when I fired it up the first time with the headphones on, the sound effects and destruction are just incredible. Oh and the m1911 is a beast of a pistol!

I would not worry too much. i can;t even play it on anything above the lowest settings and I regularly crash to desktop, get game freezes, white screens, black screens, VPU recovery on my card.

My rig (in my sig) should run it fine as it oretty much runs everything else on max at 1280x 1024.
 
One thing that was annoying me is that there seemed to be PunkBuster issues on some servers. Kept saying it failed to initialise or something. Installed it along with BC2 when it offered.
