Six Nations 2010 **Spoilers**

Don't really care for Care - too slow with his passing which means that Wilko is always taking a standing pass and not attacking the game line. By the time the ball gets to the centres they are way behind the game line and static. England need an injection of pace and that starts with flat passes to running players.

Unfortunately most of the premiership seems to more about minimizing errors than attacking, leading to a england team slow to attack.

I have to say that the French impressed me yesterday, they looked sharp and the blitz defence worked well for them. Not sure it will work as well against Ireland, England, or Wales though.

I thought Tait had a good game, he played well and kept the ball moving nicely. Flood however was terrible, and I'd be dropping him as soon as possible for Flutey, he just looked out of sorts every time he had the ball.

I thought Wales were lucky to lose by 13 points. Not because England played particularly well, but because they lacked anything special at all. The forwards defended well at times, but during their sin-bin period I thought England where unlucky to a) not score more points, and b) Wales had 2 nonsense penalties, Shaw falling over and handing off immediately that led to a try, and Borthwick being harshly penalised for hands over the top (when in actual fact he legitimately stole the ball) that led to 3 points.

The French looked good in parts, but I don't think they played particularly well - Scotland just played terribly. The forwards must have wondered what they had in store for them from the very first scrum. Poor positioning made France's Blitz defence look better then it actually is - I think they will struggle against Ireland and England, and Wales if they smarten up.

I've got tickets for the Wales Scotland game on Saturday, I can get either Block M13, or U30, which would you think is the best ticket?

Tricky one. Personally I'd go for U30 since the angle is much better, and being higher up isn't necessarily a disadvantage; you can see a lot more of what's going on in the game as a whole.

Go for U30 and take some little binoculars with you if you're worried about it. :)

It's a nice stadium, I'm hoping for a good match and Scotland over the past 5 years or so have progressed a lot, especially under Hadden who brought in a lot of new methods.

So, Dan Cole and Riki Flutey are both starting against Italy. Looks like MJ really wants to turn the screws a bit and get a good points difference going.

U30 definately I would say. The stadium really doesnt seem very big once you're inside, the Emirates is similar in that respect. The top tiers are high up but not that far back and you can easily make out who's who etc.

Some interesting facts from week one:

  • France missed the most tackles in week one at 14 followed by England at 12. Ireland missed the least at 5.
