They did that with another online golf thing and it was rubbish as the free clubs could barely hit the ball hard enough to reach the fairway on some holes. The amount of interest the game seems to be gathering I would have thought they could have advertising making a lot of profit to cover the running and charge a small subscription it need be, if it's anywhere near £5 a month i'll just stop playing it!

I think they are going after the core players and not casuals, hence why the monthly fee instead of free to play.
 
Cheaper than an MMO.

If it has the promised tournaments, updated courses, continual stat tracking, ongoing support, I personally, wouldnt mind paying that.

Even in BETA, this offers more than the current games in the Tiger franchise.

How much do people spend on MMO's per month?
 
I don't think i'm ever likely to pay a subscription for a game! I will happily buy it for £40 as it seems like a good game.

I have managed to keep my cut run going for 15 days now, but a few of those days i've only had time to logon quick and play 1 round - I sometimes don't have time to play a game for 2-3 weeks!

I'm not going to keep a subscription going when I don't have time to play.
 
Am quite enjoying this. Could have some longevity with me.

I hear that the expected subscription os going to be about $5 per month.

About £3 or so.

We shall see.
 
Added some of you to my favourites list and setup three sponsors.

If we start adding each other we can raise XP earned.

I haven't played TW series in a long, long time but this is a great find.
 
I played some more today, 1 tournament, i really like the game but sometimes i got like a lag spike or something but i think it's like performance issue. I run the game in firefox, will try next time in IE.

Just disovered a couple of weeks back, and it is awesome!

I wouldn't mind paying for it, £5 a month seems decent enough if they've got loads of features to make it worthwhile.

I'd like to customize my character more, and my poor laptop struggles to play it with the nicer graphics.
 
this is a great game, though i do not think its something i would spend money on, gfx r good for a browser game, and does not eat up much bandwidth at all :D
