well i have decided to cancel my preorder on this game.
i think its just a crap game no pun intended to those that like the game but its no call of duty 4 thats for sure.
also the defending side is so underpowered its unreal lol

The 12x is supposed to be zoomable but i havent worked out how to do so even after pressing every key
Reassign it to Left CTRL then u can use ur little finger as it's unlikely u'll be holding sprint and crouch at the same time - makes it easier but still irritating.
You're quite right, its not CoD4... its BC2... it never pretended to be CoD.

I think i've only been on a loosing defending team maybe twice. They get loads of armour, infinite tickets, 2 helicopters, more mounted static guns that you could shake a stoat at, what more do you want ?

I have a few times with the whole team, (while feeling slightly sorry for the attackers) camped the drop down on the left hand side and camped just underneath the mountain dont think they even managed to arm a single thing that game

you play it for 10 minutes and the novelty wares off and your left sitting there wondering why am i continuing to play this lackfest .
Like i have said before there is just no fun in this game....
COD 4 was fun and tactical i know i keep coming back to cod4 but it was the best online fps that i have played this generation then it was CSS. codmwf 2 sucks.
Tactical? Maybe if you played Search and Destroy with decent teams, Team Deathmatch had no tactics. Its a completely different style of game, CoD4 was indeed good fun (once you got past the lame things that should never of been in the game), but having a good squad and some tactics and working together makes BC2 a hell of a lot more fun than wandering round alone.
Bizarre how one persons experience can differ so vastly from your own, Firstly I love(d) CoD4 (played it to death). But BC2, even in its beta state is so much more an exiting battle experience for me than, well tbh more than anything else recently.

I saw about 4 games like that over the weekend, it seems this was because too many people just wanted to snipe or use tanks, and no one was actually making much of a concerted effort to push the front line forward.
I think so Marku, it has a hardcore mode (which im yet to play) which should slow the gameplay down a bit and make it more realistic.
yeah i agree LOAM,the only game to maybe surpass bf2 is another bf title hence bc2,if it wasnt for me achieveing practically everything in bf2 i would still be playing it today as no other fps wargame has the same feel of fun or achievement that you get from it,although i am looking forward to see how the new Medal of honor pans out as i loved allied assault,still 1000s of people playing allied assault even as we speak!
