*****The Official Aliens Vs Predator 3*****

Getting good with wall transition comes with practice. I doubt you'd find it any easier with the controller to be honest.
 
I have found that holding down the mouse 3 button and then walking/jumping at a wall makes it transistion.

Holding both mouse 1 and 2 makes you block iirc.

Pressing mouse 2 at the correct time and then not pressing anything after will allow you to grab the enemy ( press E ) and preform a trohpy kill. It's a bit like a combo where as if you press anything else before it says "press E" the "skill" doesn't work. ( that makes no sense? lol )

Alien is my favourite class so far.

Can you not jump at people like you could in the old Avp games?
 
Well, after numerous games I can so that this game has well and truly grown on me. Can't wait for the release for some dx11 goodness and get my teeth into the sp campaign!
 
By the way! I now know why dogs and other such animals chase their own tails... I was playing AvP demo the other night as alien and when I turned round too fast I thought i saw another alien behind me and it made me jump. Turns out it was my own tail I was chasing around in circles for 30 seconds....
 
Played this a few more times last night. I am getting into it slightly and can see myself pre ordering for less than £20 it will pay for itself in terms of entertainment.

I do love being the predator and the alien. No love for the marine, although it is a good class and can be played very well, it's just...boring.

Alien I find it too easy to trophy kill, run up behind people, spam "E" left/right click = kill.

You should only be allowed to trophy kill when people have less than 10% health or something, imo.
 
tooled up predator is very overpowered vs alien if its 1v1 (a lot of lobbied seem to be) then he just instakills u at range and toe to toe pred still has advantage!! hes even nearly as fast as the alien!!
marine will do u at long range and is suprisingly tough close up alien seems pretty weak if you cant get a trophy kill then its 50/50 at best

agreed, just played someone who whored the disc the whole time. way overpowered.
 
Must admit the aliens melee attacks are a little to weak, deffinetly the most ineffective of the 3 classes which is a shame. The Predator also has a similar pounce option which further renders the aliens advantage slim. Ill be playing mainly for SP but I love MP so hopefully they can tweak this a little bit.

Not if you do Heavy -> Light.

Guaranteed kill if you connect.
