Does anyone know if Rebellion/Sega are releasing a demo or beta or something? Out the end of next month so thought they may ahve done something?

I've never used steam before so how does that work if you get the disc through the post and the extra content via steam? Can you choose to play the game via steam without the disc or something? I also noticed that although it is a games for windows procut its not GFWL.

Also, anyone got any idea of minimum specs required?

Nothing linked here> AVP3 is going to be available on steam. The bonus is supplied via steam. Never used steam before, presumably I'll get the disc in the post, could I then use steam to play it without the disc and access the pre-order bonus? Thoughts anyone?

In that case then, given the content is steam powered, I assume the cd key from the physical purchase can be used and the full game unlocked in steam.........

Yes I concur - the only reason I buy physical is the sometimes huge differences in price. If steam offered AVP3 at £18 including skins woudl buy straight from there!

C'mon guys, lets not forget what this post is all about, the SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS, o wait, MMMMmmmm

Swiftly moving back to subject, lets all just agree those in favor of discs are right! lol

Anyone have any ideas for minimum specs to run aliens vs predator?

I too would be keen for that. Their staying very tight lipped about it, I hope the specs don't require a x-fire 5970 or something daft to play it tidy!

Game have the Survivor edition available for pre-order on pc - £34.99. Not sure I can justify almost double the price I have it pre-ordered at for four maps which will come out as dlc and the courtesy of my game in a steel case! :p

*edit - HMV have the hunter edition for pc on pre-order for £39.99
