Curb Your Enthusiasm any good

Really good, took me quite a few episodes to get into it and understand the comedy then after that i couldnt help but watch the whole series

I love it. Most of the humour is based on embarassing/awkward social situations, so if you ever find yourself thinking inappropriate things to do/say when with company then you'll probably love it too xD

Thanks for the reminder, I picked up series 1 a while back and haven't gotten round to watching it yet, now is a perfect time.
(I actually came into the box office subforum for some ideas on what to watch!)

Exactly, it makes me cringe more than watching the UK Office (I love Office and Curb) :)

Cringe, in that hold your breath, can't believe what he's just done. kind of way :)

Must be one of the best comedy series of the last few years - at it's best it is genius and has had me literally crying laughing. Last 2-3 seies IMO have been a bit patchy with the ocassional forgetable episode, seems like the same formula gets reworked over and over, increasing use of 'guest celeb' that often doesn't work.

If you only watch one episode make sure your see 'Crazy-Eyez Killah' from S3 - must be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Im going to go with the minority. I watched the first episode, And just didnt click with it. Not for me. That doesnt mean i lack a sense of humour either.

Watched pretty much all of the first series, while I agree it is a class act, it certainly isn't the be all and end all of dry wit situational comedy that everyone makes it out to be.

I do like the chemistry between the characters though, everyone is at ease with the whole thing.
The imaginary realtors must have one hell of a high customer turnover though as they seem to have new neighbours every show.
And what is with shooting Larrys missus as the focus point in a narrow depth of field so she stands out against the rest of the cast?, pretty silly stuff.
