Sun pays £30,000 damages to Muslim bus driver accused of fanaticism

while i feel that any and every religious person has the right to exercise their religion as long as it doesn't contravene with the laws of the land, i do think that the manner in which he has chosen to exercise his right is inappropriate.

i think he should have announced to the bus that there would be a temporary delay and given anyone who didn't want to wait the opportunity to get off and catch another bus. i also think that he shouldn't have left the engine running.

other than that, i really don't have much of an issue with it.
 
In my opinion it's totally out of order and not very considerate of the driver. Then again, he's Muslim, and nobody is allowed to criticize Muslims or Islam without being branded a racist.
 
I'd 'ave chinned the ******* and told him to get 'is arse back on the bus.

You would think muslims would pick a more customer friendly religion, something like christianity? At least it's more of a sunday thing.

All these laws about discrimination/political correctness are screwing this country up if you ask me.

We got teachers trying to teach while wearing a burka, I wouldn't want a pair of eyes trying to teach me!

Girls being expelled from school for wearing a small cross, and airline staff.

There's plenty more stupid things going on, next thing to happen will be muslims getting offended at the George cross as englands flag.

Actually, there are already many people who want us to ditch the Union Flag as they consider it "fascist". So wouldn't be surprised at all if St. George's Cross was to follow.
