please help with this.
I have 1 suspicious prgram and 1 trojan.
I cannot click on the disinfect button it is greyed out.
I have googled it but they seem to suggest downloading another anti spyware program.
Any other ideas?

ask for your money back.

Get AVAST or AVG, both used to be free and were the best of the bunch.
If none of those fix it then its a format or just live with.

What OS are you running?

I'd give Malwarebytes a run at it.

Combofix is also good but can be dangerous if not run correctly.

Avast is quite good but would def avoid AVG. That seems to pick up nothing these days. MSE is my choice at the mo.

ok i ran a scan and it found nothing
however when i click my protection it says 3 threats detected.
when i click on the threats i cannot disinfect?
Im assuming either the problem has been resolved or that my computer keeps a record of what it finds???
what do you think?

i'm not sure - i'm not very familiar with Kaspersky. can you post a screenshot?

it might not be a bad idea to try what swordfish suggested and try Microsoft Security Essentials - it's free and it's pretty good, but i'd temporarily uninstall Kaspersky if you did because running multiple AVs is usually quite bad.

they were probably on webpages/flash adverts and it stopped them gaining access to your computer, if its in quarantine right click and select send it will probably tell you the file doesnt exist.

wierd how kaspersky usually beats all other AV in the yearly tests then
