Sun pays £30,000 damages to Muslim bus driver accused of fanaticism

Well tbh, that is annoying, I remember on the bus home once (I'm on the last stop of it so the last few stops tends to be me alone) the bus driver stopped at a newsagents to get a paper / some smokes etc.

But guyz.. why didn't the daily mail report that? :(

Well, the driver popping off the bus for a fag/newspaper/pee is a well known interlude in our lives is it not?
 
Sorry but if he did that on a bus I was on without warning and knelt in the exit, he'd become a doormat on my way out..

The man is Anjem Choudray and yes, he is deliberately trying to push the boundaries. He wants an anti muslim backlash because it gets more ordinary muslims on his side. By getting all upset and outraged and blaming all muslims you are basically doing him a favour.
 
Ok as a fellow muslim, I understand he had to pray. But surley since he was working, he could have prayed this prayer along with the next prayer, at the next prayers time. That's if, if he wasn't working.

Could have prayerd on his 5 min break even, if it was on at the prayer time.
 
Big deal i been on countless busses where the drivers have pulled over and gone into a cafe, newsagent, McDonalds, pay phone, Fish and chip shop to name a few.

Plenty of tuts and FFS but no one does anything..

Also a driver that turned off the engine and pulled over when some stroppy youths were acting up. He aasked politley for them to get off then said he wouldnt move the bus until they did.... 20 MINUTES i sat that thinking wtf?!?!? Then got on the next bus behind with a load of other passangers... bizzare way of makign a point... that one ****ed me off the most.
 
I can't say muslims are worse than any other brainwashing faith for the ignorant. I say more power to them, before you know it you'll be waking up to the sound of prayers blasting from your local mosque from your sheer ambivolence, deal with it.

My grandfather came to the UK from Italy as in immigrant, from what I read he embraced the British culture, adapted and thrived. When I travel to a foreign country I don't want to change it, I appreciate my time there and adapt to the local customs.
 
If I hear prayers blasted at 7in the morning, I would bring that minuet to the ground.
p.s italians are Christians? Not much adapting needed.
 
I work on the railway, drive around a lot and we have a muslim on board who has to pray everyday at certain times and faces certain positions, brings a carpet and compass with him all the time! >_<
