OcUK Official G-Meter Top 20 - Now ADDED Nürburgring Lap times (BTG)

always found that track days punish brakes more than the 'ring. never had any problems with various cars at the ring, same cant be said of trackdays!

What sort of wear and tear does taking around the ring for a few laps do to a car?
Assuming the car is in good shape, none at all.
Your brakes will have a bit of heat in them, but if it's excessive then simply resting them for 15 mins or so is enough.
Anyone that's cooked their brakes on the 'ring either doesn't know much about racing theory (and as a consequence, is on the brakes a lot more than they should be) or their car has a sub standard*/defective braking system.
That aside, all of the above only applies if you're driving the 'ring like your pants are on fire. Drive at 90% and your car will have an easy time of it.

*by sub standard, I mean non-motorsport/performance car parts. Something like an ordinary Focus rather than an ST.

will dynolicious results count ?

Now you dont want none of this car on the track, believe me. These guys are masters in Japan at building track killers. This is rated at over 690 HP, how you like them apples?

To make it easier for me to update please quote the entire 1st post and add your own result into the post with the attached pictures.

Then I can just edit the 1st post

Very much doubt I've got the power to make the top 20 but having just got a GPS datalogger for xmas I'll be posting some times for the MR2 once the weather has warmed up a bit.

Can I be added to the list please? I know it's 6 years old but it still counts right? :p

I had epic wheel spin all through 1st and 2nd, If I could get the power down it would have ran low 13's.
