I used to like french fancies because I had them probably once or twice ever when I was a kid (my parents never bought junk food). I got really drunk one day and decided to buy a massive box of krispy kreme doughnuts and a lot of french fancies, ate about 20 with like 6 doughnuts and felt horribly ill.

I can't eat them without feeling ill now, even though they're great. Always liked the pink ones best though.

I always find I eat the icing and the cream and am then left with the sponge, just doesn't taste as good as the pure pink sugar!

it really depends what kind of mood I'm in. Most of the time I'll have the pink, only had the brown a few times and it is good. I've yet to try a yellow one but i wouldn't say no!
