Im looking for a good strategy game

I used to be into the CnC games of old and age of empires, and more recently moved onto Supreme Commander and Forged alliance, and Sins of a Solar Empire.

I'm looking for a new strategy game to sink my teeth into til SupCom 2 is released, any suggestions?
 
Yeah BFME2 is way better than the first imo.

Company of Heroes is fantastic. If your looking for something a little bit more in-depth, Men of war is also good.

Dawn of war is also a great strategy game. I didnt like Dawn of war 2 as much as the first but its a lot prettier.

yah i did play Dawn of War. it was ok, wasnt too sure about the checkpoint gameplay to begin with, but it grew on me!

Ill give company of heroes a try, sounds good! I have played demigod, which i thought was ace!

and also one that i cant remember the name of! It has strategy points, and there are areas on the map you have to command. You choose to play as land, air, support, or long range, and then you have x amount of points and your units get airdropped into the game. and when they get destroyed the points return to your collction and slowly tick over to the the amount which you can spend on reinforcements. help me rememebr the name?! xD

Company of heroes?
 
Sounds like Ground Control (of which there is a 2nd one) although you don't pick specifically air\ground\ranged.

I couldn't get into Supreme Commander for some reason, I've tried a few times, just doesn't catch me :(


company of heroes is excellent, awesome graphics for a RTS too
 
Act of War was awesome fun - Might have to dig that out for some LAN fun
Ground Control had superb MP, GC2 MP was not as good but still fun
World in Conflict I felt was an amazing game
Also look into Demigod, its basically what SupCom2 will be like I belive
 
World in Conflict is nothing whatsoever like CoH, I have and love both games, but for me World in Conflict is the best gane of the last few years
