Fractal Design R2 cooling advice!

Hey hey,

I just got the Fractal Design R2 case and was thinking of adding 2 more fans..

Im really not sure which would be the best place for them... maybe the top?

It currently has 2 fans: 1 x 120mm front intake and 1 x 120mm back exhaust..

Also which fans do you recommend?

Maybe one top one side panel (blowing onto gfx)? An extra one in front for positive pressure?

Side fans are usually a bad idea, disturbing airflow.

A top fan can help as the hot air in the top of the case will be extracted.

I used
2 x 140mm Fractal fans on Top (Exhaust)
2 x 120mm Fractal fans in the front (Intake)
1 x 120mm Fractal fan at the rear (Exhaust)
1 x 140mm Fractal fan on the case flooring (Blowing upward) and they're all running on PWM using this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-031-AK

Any issue with a 5870 fitting in these?

Im planning the following. Im using the same case and will have 5870 too.

2x 120mm Fractal fans front sucking IN
2x 120mm Enermax fans rear (H50 push/pull) IN
1x 140mm Fractal fan bottom sucking IN
2x 120mm Fractal fans top exhausting OUT.
