I watched this the other day, and WOW! I think I've missed the boat somewhat on this, but dang, what a film!

It had slipped under my radar, and as a result, I've no idea how popular it is or how many people like it. Did anybody else on here enjoy, The Big Lebowski?

Jeff Bridges is a legend. :cool:
 
One of my favourite films.

Some cracking lines and a great entertaining all round film

I think my favourite part of the film though:

"Was there anything of value, in the car?"

"Oh, yeah... There was a tape deck, some Creedence tapes and urr... My briefcase."

"In the briefcase?"

"Umm... Papers. Urr, just papers. You know, my papers... business papers."

*Says the Dude in his dressing gown lying down in his reclining chair* :D

I was in tears. :p

This movie turned me from a film fan into a film fanatic. It's what made me want to be a screenwriter.
 
The Big Lebowski is my favorite film, Coen brothers are up their with my favorite directors (Quentin Tarantino).

if you have not seen Fargo either, I'd go and buy that!

Coen brothers have done some outstanding work :)

I love most of their films, this is deffinatly one of my favorite films of all time.

This film made me reconsider my whole life. I know it sounds sad but all I do everyday is rush about trying to pursue a 'career', when really I just want to chill, be a bum and go bowling!

I made my friend watch it and he didnt get it at all, and thought I was a total loser for thinking that was one of the best films. Still cant understand how he didnt get it...
 
Absolutely love it. Though, I got a friend to watch it and he hated it. He says it's one of the worst films he's ever seen. :confused:

It's a bit strange because he usually has a very similar taste to me, but I just don't understand how you couldn't like The Big Lebowski.

edit: Whoa. I didn't read this when I posted, and I'm in pretty much the exact same situation. How weird is that?
