Facebook FFS, more spam, but now on my profile wall!

Is there anyway to stop people posting facefook spam on my profile wall???

You know the spam you get on the live update view "so and so has answered a question about you - they said blah blah blah"

Well its now leaking onto my profile wall.

How do i stop this??
 
facebook is getting ****a and ****a, i hardly use the thing anymore

especially now you cant automatically hide who's wall/picture/status you've wrote on or who you've added or what picture you've liked ect... no where near as private as it use to be.... just out to get me into trouble with missus haha, so tend not to bother with it no more
 
This always happens to me and loads of other people you shouldnt really care as facebook shouldnt be your life..

If its really making you depressed just select 'Hide'.

Its not really SPAM, its just an application which one of your friends have installed and they ask you questions if your name is one of the answers it will appear on your wall, to find out the answers you need to install that same application yourself.

This. You can hide applications and people if you want, to stop anything they post from showing up anywhere! It's much better imo.

Also, if you're on Chrome install the Facebook Fixer add-on as there is an option in it to hide what groups people are joining on the homepage. ;)

On your profile page you dont get the option to hide/perma hide. Only remove :(

Its only on the live feed you get this option. So when the spam gets posted on your profile you have to manually delete until someone posts some more.
 
don't get me started on this, at one point the whole top half of my profile was covered in this nonsense. Drives me mad, and most of it comes from the same 3 people. Thing is i'll delete it all and within a day it's back! (insert rage man Fuuuuuu! cartoon here) I feel internet rage coming on.

ahhhh see you think i haven't tried this, but i get beaten by facebook every time. I hide farmville, then i get stung by the sending smiley thing, i hide that then get stung by "social interview" thing, so i hide that then bang some other interview comes up i haven't hidden. It's like a never ending circle, so i just gave up and manually deleted instead of hiding all these millions of apps.

I've just given up, done my last clean up but my profile is probably full of spam again.
 
:mad:I personally hate facebook, everyone knows about your personal lives, and if you have a tiff with your partner it's posted so that 200 + friends/ family can see it. it also gives theifs an open opportunity, the amount of times i see people post that there going on holiday ect...all they need to find out is where you live, you might aswell give them your key.
