Is my Sky HD box broken?

Hey have had my Thomson Sky HD box now for around 1.5 years and its being totally fault free, but over the last few weeks something inside is spinning mega fast making a loud spinning noise like a fan is on full???? I have to pull the plug out for it to stop and reset.

Anybody had this problem and know of a fix? Cost me £300 did this so I hope Sky will change it for me?

Sounds like either the fan or hard drive is probably dying. You could try replacing it yourself, or Sky will charge £65 to fix/replace it.

I think it could be the HDD, do I just put another one in?
