So my dad is closer than ever now to buying another car. He had a go in my mates 2006 Mondeo Zetec s and likes it. The image of old 1980's tin box, oil burning escorts and sierras are out of his clouded mind now instead of his opinion back in december http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18090931

He wants one with leather seats and diesel, ideally one with the sporty bumpers on like my mates silver one. I've seen this on PH and it would fit the bill perfectly.

What do you guys think? Are they much thirstier than the 2.0 diesel?

It is ludicrously cheap, especailly considering it's also quite high spec, it has nav etc ...and there has got to be a good reason why, there just has to be.

It does not mention mileage or previous owners though, although to be fair it'd have to have been to the moon for the price to be that low right now, maybe it's had a lot of owners, which could be a sign of a car that has 'issues' ...and or it's done 250k miles or something.

Be very, very careful, the ST diesels should actually cost a bit more at this age than the ST220's ...they just hold their value a bit better and you wouldn't find an ST220 worth buying at that sort of price.

Oh I didn't see the milage before, duhh :p

Low price for a pretty rare car, the diesel STs are pretty well sought after.

Was curious why the price is so low so I had a quick check; history is clear, 3 previous owners. Thats not to say it hasn't had a smash where they didn't involve the insurance though. I'd definitely go and view / drive it if you're thinking of buying, check for any signs of repair and see if there is service history to back up the mileage.

Maybe the guy just wants rid of it though hence the low price.

I have driven one of the Titanium's, obviously not the 220ps engine, had it as a hire car on a works trip last year. Managed to get a dent in the front wing for which I got loads of stick, and now have a Mr Bump picture permanently in residence at my desk.

Insanely cheap for a ST TDCi. Probably has a known fault. DMF/Injectors etc.

61k miles is not high but I cant believe the price.

I sold my Performance Blue (More sought after colour) 2007 ST TDCi in Sept last year with 60k on it for 8k and mine didnt have Nav or any other optionals.

Something has to be fishy about that one!

Clearly a scam at that price

Hi,
The car is still available for sale,it is in perfect condition in and out,100% HPI clear with a certificate to confirm, full service history.I just got married and moved with my Italian husband in Milan,Italy.I took the car with me so the car is currently here.I can`t use it in Italy because it has the wheel on the wright side and it would also cost me too much to register it here.It is still registered in the UK and since I have absolutely no use for it I am looking for a fast sale( this is why the low asking price)I can ship the car from here directly to your home address and I am also willing to cover all delivery expenses.
I look forward to your reply.
Regards

:D

That's twice now i've seen a dodgy ad on PH where the car is not even in the country.
