Anyone with a GeForce GT230M?

Got one in my new HP laptop....just a little concerned that it doesn't seem to be clocking down on idle and runs at 500/1100 all the time. I'm not actually sure it's supposed to, just find it curious it doesn't, like other cards do. Does anyone else have one of these to confirm?

Currently using the HP driver, but have tried the 196.34s and it's the same.

I have one in my laptop. I'm not sure if it has the behaviour yours does. I'll check tonight.

No, mine idles very low outside of games and runs far cooler. If yours is like that at idle then there is something very wrong.

Yeah, I ran a movie through DXVA last night and when I finished watching it, I checked the clocks again....it clocked down to 135/135. This is weird......seems it has the capability but is not doing it. I wonder if it's anything to do with Windows' power plans...I've been fiddling with them a bit lately.
