It is a pure Knive build that you can just run round and stab people without getting tired, no fall damage ect (Coomando, Lightweight, Marathon ect) and using pistol knive attachent. It's lame it reeally pees me off and i am sure a lot of other people.

I was hoping for some proper games tonight after the patch, but half the games I played tonight with my mate had nuke boosting going on. It was too late for anything but power down after confirming host status on the first. The second one I saw it going on and intervened. The cheeky beggar even had Nuke count = 41 on his bio, might as well say games ruined.

Hardcore mode > anything :) No boosters!
 
Seen about the update :D so decided to have a quick game last night and hit 70.

Im not sure if i should prestige or not? Im thinking i might just stick at 70 and complete all the challenges.... But then if i decided to go prestige later on then thats abit of a waste :(

What do you guys think?

Yeah i know what you mean now.I just had one this morning doing it.He was rampaging everywhere at 100 mph stabbing every1.Was quite lame.So every time he came near me i dropped my claymore right in front of him.

Also what is nuke boosting and noob tubes i keep hearing about in game.
The nuke boosting is that just killing a m8 in a free for all or somat until you get the nuke ?

Nuke boosting is where 2 mates go in FFA and one kills the other to get a nuke. And noob tubes are rocket launchers, mainly because people just randomly fire them places and anyone near by dies..

Dreadi, so just going prestige once will get me the same as going 10th? (Apart from the badges and extra custom classes?)

Yes that's Nuke boosting. n00b tubes are the grenade attachments for the guns. Equip Grenade launcher, Thumper and scavenger and you never need to shoot a bullet. Its a shame as they make you use the grenade launcher to complete gun challenges, always makes me feel guilty those 20 kills :(
 
Haha yeah i know what you mean. Altho last time i had a 3rd person cage match with a friend with noob tubes only to complete challenges with different guns.

I suppose that's a kind of boosting but it got it over and done with
 
Anyone played Spec Ops since the 1.08 patch? (PS3) Just tried now and getting lag, tried swapping hosts and the same problem. Never had an issue before on Spec Ops.

The only thing that has changed since I last played as this 1.08 patch which I downloaded just before starting.

Edit: Ignore lag has gone away now.

You'll only get one extra custom slot. A total of five are awarded each odd number prestige 1,3,5,7,9. A few titles are locked to a level of prestige and some final challenges are at level 10, but most are unlocked at the first.

Of course it's a bug, why would they allow mine because I'm awesome and didn't die and not allow others that have died at some point during the game.

It doesn't rape half as much as chopper gunner in similar circumstances when people don't have cold blooded on.
 
yea well i have used pavelow all the time and never seen it add to a killstreak,even starting from 0 deaths and using pavelow,choppa gunner and nuke.I have played wasteland and finished 30 to 0 and not got a nuke so work that one out with that same setup.I got 9 kills called in pavelow,which raped to get about 10 kills then had to still kill 2 people with my gun to get choppa gunner and then got loads kills with that but no nuke.
