Six Nations 2010 **Spoilers**

Wales didn't deserve to win. Apart from Shane Williams they were not great, for the vast majority of the game they had no attacking invention (and what they did have came through him) if Lawson and Godman hadn't got themselves sin-binned then I reckon Scotland could have held on. I'd also have called time at the final kick-off, the clock was red so it should have been done.

However in trying to take positives from it Scotland were much better for the first half and with a bit more discipline in the second should have recorded the win.

I have to say well done Wales but Shane Williams' pass to Byrne for his try was a yard forward and the game kicked off after the 80 minutes was up when Wales levelled with the penalty. Those weren't the only thing the refereeing team missd today, there were many poor decisions against both sides. The standard of refereeing in the northern hemisphere is fast heading down hill and is adversley affecting games.

I just hope Cristophe Berdos has better game for Italy, England tomorrow but TBH I don't expect he will since I've never seen a good performance from him.

I would much rather Alain Roland was on the field rather than touch judging :( Has been fairly consistent in the games I have seen him referee.

Flannerey should have had a straight Red for that, it wasn't a AW Jones type trip it was a full blown flying hack, can not stand Flannery he is nothing but an overrated thug

Ive got to say, what a tense game this afternoon between Wales and Scotland.

Being a Wales supporter I was half tempted to turn it off at half time.

Some people may argue that Wales didnt deserve this win but i feel they deserve every second of praise they get.

OK, they played a poor game for 70 minutes of the 80 minutes but it takes heart and dedication to pull back a 10 point difference and win a game in the final 5 minutes. I think toward the end Scotland got abit nervous and ruthless, resulting in the loss for them.

This game will be remembered regardless.

Wales V Scotland was a good game, I feel very sorry for Scotland to come away with nothing after playing such a solid game although their scrummaging was very poor.

We still have a lot of improvements to make and I'd like to see the basics worked on a lot more. There's been too many fumbles and wayward passes for my liking, and thank god for Cooper being replaced at half time. I've never rated him very highly and every time I've seen him play for Wales he's been dire compared to our other choices. Phillips to play when he's fit but for now I'm happy with Richie Rees. Something needs to be done about Andy Powell playing as a number 6, it's not his natural position and I feel that Ryan Jones should be put there to allow Powell to really get some opportunities to run at the defence. We need to use Jamie Roberts as more of a decoy now as a lot of teams have been wise to him for the past season. I could go on and on about the match but the one thing people will point at is the referee allowing play after 80 minutes.

Scotland could have kicked the ball dead and the game would've been a draw. Secondly Lee Byrne chipped the ball, ran clear of all defenders and was tripped by the last man as he ran through, should've been a penalty try.

France are certainly looking dangerous, Ireland didn't look particularly good from what I saw and definitely not in the form of last year but France were making it seem fairly easy for the most part.

Cooper needs to be dropped, he slows the play down way too much for Wales, any overlap they have is destroyed because he takes so damn long to release the ball from a ruck.

My heart was killing me in the last 5 minutes!

Ugh, what a day for an Northern Irishman living in Scotland...

Wales v Scotland was a cracking game, not happy about the restart after the clock though. Also felt really sorry for Chris Paterson having to go off in his 100th cap game, if only it had been a game of two first halves.

France just completely dominated, had that ball bounced for D'Arcy and we'd scored then it may have changed the face of the game, but once the French get the bit between their teeth in Paris they are very hard to stop.

Well done to France and Wales...

Today: Well done Wales; Very sorry for Scotland (snatching defeat from the jaws of Victory); Sorry for Ireland - but the stats had said it all before the game; and well done les bleus, they were tremendous.

So England v France, and France for a Grand Slam by the looks of things!

I was gutted sat in my seat at the stadium crying at what a waste of money that game was, then the turnaround began, best 10ish minutes of rugby I've ever watched I think.
Scotland defo played the better game but Wales seriously turned it in the dying minutes, just get the ****** ball to Shane. Job done!

I felt a bit bad for the Scottish since play went on @ 80mins but if they wanted the draw they could have kicked it out of play instead of playing on I guess. Good game.

Dreading Wales v France :)

I watched this game yesterday with a Scottish friend of mine. After Wales kicked the penalty to level the game up, I turned and said, "and Scotland will kick it into touch and have to be happy with the draw with only 13 on the pitch".....just as they kicked it straight to Wales who ran up the other end and scored..... suicide. Felt bad for Scotland afterwards :(
