"flOw" for free on US PSN

Hey,

This game is available for free (limited time offer?) on the US PSN. It's listed under the "make.believe" category.

I've added it to my US account successfully, but when I try to download the actual game, I'm getting a 403 error. If somebody else could give it a go and report back, that would be cool!

Quick update to this - go to www.hidemyass.com, jot down a US-based proxy IP, and then enter this into your PS3 connection settings.

You might have to try a couple of different IP's, but the download should now work

Right now it will cost you nothing until 12AM EST / 9PM PST when the promotion ends.

full version is there as a free download until 14/02/2010 at 2am GMT

Hmm, I'm having problems using a proxy. The download starts fine, but after a few % it just keeps giving a download error and stops

I can resume, but it goes for a little while and then throws up an error again.

This has happened with 5 or 6 different proxy IP's... any ideas?

I tried a different site for proxies - www.cool-proxy.net. The first server I picked worked perfectly

When i have tried a few ip,s im still getting error 403 went for a manual setup everything on automatic make sure im using the proxy all the settings pass but still that error

What am i doing any different to you guys :confused:

This one seems at least steady - about a 1Mb every 10secs

@stella - nothing different other than adding the Proxy into the custom settings, my PS3 isnt DHCPed but that shouldnt make any difference...

Having to re-download - guess corrupted download - might use your proxy J if mine doesnt work again...

EDIT: Thats worked!!!
EDIT2: 16Mb Update too...

Hmm can't remember the exact IP I used, but none of the ones on HideMyAss worked (I must have tried 25+ USA and Canadian IP's).

You're making a rather large assumption that they will stop IP filtering...

First time Ive seen Sony do that as the last freebie was Rag Doll Kung Fu which had no check at activation or download, so I agree that I doubt Sony will remove the IP filtering - changing to proxies takes seconds especially now others have done the hard work and found a couple of ones that work well...
