also teamwork and strength
just finished my first season as wigan and i must say im quite pleased with how ive done.
finished 9th which is wigans best ever finish, shame i missed out on europe by 1 place though.
my transfers for the season.
these 2 central defenders have been awsome for me over the season and the best thing is there 19 and 23 so can only get better
got this guy coming in at the start of the new season, dont no whether to have him replace nzogbia or replace rodallega up front.
im currently searching for a young talented dm and am also after gareth bale from spurs

I wish they'd hurry up and release the patch. I always get to this time of year and hate that I feel like I'm playing with outdated data!

ok I have a dilemna!
I'm playing as Norwich City in the second season, I'm in the Championship, currently 4th after 37 games, I'm two points off second place. I really fancy my chances of finishing second or winning the play-offs.
I have just been offered the Sunderland job who are lying in 12th place in the Premiership, do I jump ship? I would be giving up on the dream of getting Norwich back into the premier league and whiping away all their debt
I would have a bigger club at Sunderland though...
What to do?

Balotelli hardly ever improves. Both in my games (the current and previous FM) he starts off as a great wonderkid miles better than most his age, but once he gets in his 20s he's nothing special, stats and performance wise. Of course that's just in my game though.
Toulalan is a brilliant player.

What position and role do you play him in? Just signed him for Man Utd and want to get him playing well asap.

I'd stick with Norwich, no point giving up on the challenge of getting them back in the prem part way through!

Right it seems I've worked out how to play this game. Still with Utd. Second season. Bought in Vargas for £18m and Dzeko for £23m in first season.
Second season I've bought Toulalan for £27.5m, Adler for £18m and Aguero for £52m. Yes, ouch, but I had the cash and couldn't tempt Atletico Madrid to let me have him cheaper so I paid his release fee. Aguero is nuts, 10 starts in the league and 2 sub appearances. 11 goals.
Since I finished 5th last season I got dumped into the EURO cup.
That and the fact I started the European stuff before I got Aguero means he's only played in domestic ties for me.
Toulalan I got because I couldn't get De Rossi from Roma. He's been quite crap tbh. Got himself sent off with 2 yellows so I warned him. Happened again a few games later so I fined him a week's wages. He wasn't happy. Well neither was I!
Have managed to get Gourcuff, is arriving at the end of season. I offered Bordeaux £25m and they refused and demanded £17.5m + 10% future profit. OK then.
Ashley Young signed for £30m and arriving in January. Only bought him as I could do with more English/homegrown players.
As for the league, well, 16 games played at Utd and 14 won. Currently sitting top with 42 points. Everton 2nd with 38 having played 17 games. I play Everton in the next league game so I'm hoping to extend my lead a bit. Liverpool 3rd with 37 points from 17 games, Man City 4th with 36 from 17, Chelsea 5th with 35 from 17 and Arsenal 6th with 34 from 17.
So far, so good. Here's hoping Ashley Young helps a bit after January and I win the league. Would be nice to be 4th or better or win the EURO cup to get back into the Champions League where we belong.

Dzeko is just a beast, last season he got 47 goals in 48 games for me at Udinese, helping me to the Serie A and Champions League. Him and Rossi are a formidable partnership.

What role do you play him as? I started off using him as a Complete Forward on Attacking. Have tried him recently as Target Man. Not sure he's that much better for it.
Aguero seems OK on poacher or Trequartista for me.

Complete Forward, Rossi alongside him as Trequartista. I Imagine Aguero would play that role pretty similarly.

Yeah I've got a spreadsheet that you put the players' attributes into and it tells you each player's 3 best roles. Aguero looks to be either poacher or trequartista equally well or deep lying forward attack shortly behind.
I get the feeling Dzeko is better as a complete forward than a target man.
Having trouble getting Toulalan to play as well as a player who cost £27.5m should. His natural position is DMC but the spreadsheet I have tells me to use a role that you can only have at MC.
