Cheepest way for me to get live?

Hey guys. id really like some help with this, id love to get live for the new splintercell release. and for more waw zombie maps, btw if anyone knows how to get map updated without live that would be usfull too. mabye take my hd to a friends with live?

anyway we only have a my-fi , dongles and a notebook. so cant connect through pc. is there anyway to get live without a pc? or are we gnna av to get a cheep 1?

Don't try that one you'll get the opposite of what you want. Ideally you want a 48 hour code or maybe start a new profile on your 360 to get a months trial.

well have a elite, think hat came with a year free and a few games with trials
but i dont have a wired connection..ive hadl 6 xboxs that died, so i play games from my hdd now when i coppied my last hdd to m new 1, t told me i had to uninstall and reinstall the games, because they was installed on another console, which i dont understand because u still need the disk,

so if i took a trial to a friends house and downloaded maps, does anyone know if id get the same kind of abbuse?

im guessing not many ppl have tried it.

I don't really understand your question because I can't decipher what you're trying to say, but if you're asking how to get a gold subscription to Xbox live then I think you're making it more difficult than it needs to be.

If you haven't got an Internet connection then you'll need to buy one, it doesn't matter if it's cable or DSL, it depends what speeds you can get in your area and what you can afford. ISP's nowadays will give you a router, a wireless one too, for free. A lot of people on these forums will tell you to ditch that one and to go out and buy a £60+ router but there really is no need. I've got a £30 Netgear router that I had from my ISP more than 3 years ago and it works perfectly fine. An expensive router is not a necessity. Also, as for Xbox Live Gold, just buy online, use Google and find a cheap deal, there's plenty of places you can get it for much cheaper than the redeemable cards you buy from shops.

yeh, i understand all that its just i have a usb modem and a my-fi modem and a notebook, which is on windows ce, and wont work with the xbox. i could use my usb modems wit a normal pc if i share a connection, i just need a pc lol but asfar as i can gather im better off just getting wired net and doing a direct connection to the 360.

i have live! i got a wirless network addapter, and its working file with my Huawei E5830My-Fi

, gave me some abbuse about nat type not been correct, and said some things wont work though (

It will do because the IP assigned is an internal IP, only one mobile network provider that gives you an external IP is Orange.

Mifi is Three's thing. It's an issue in that you won't be able to connect to any games with other closed NAT players.

Any reason why you don't have a phoneline with broadband? The ping time on mobile networks is really rubbish and you may find you lag out in multiplayer games anyway.
