Imo, Its the most crappest film i have ever seen. even deep water is better than this.
Dont read on if you HAVENT watched the film because there are spoliers.
At the start when the guy detonates the bomb by his phone, the guy that died in the blast had a good 25 Meters Atleast when it went off. some reason the clip where it goes off it looks like hes only 15 meters away not even that. he was 10m away then he had a good 10 seconds to run. so thats one Flaw of the film.
Blood does not jam up sniper rifles.
Where the sniper scene happends an enemy comes behind them amunsted goats. now the guy who spotted the guy with the gun. should have warned the spotter and turned around and checked it with his binoculars.
In this film its a drag. no plot nothing. I only watched an hour of it just couldnt watch anymore.
And it costs them 9 million to make the film. now give me 4 million and i could make a film 10 times better than that.
It seams like no one was taking it seriously in the film of acting.
But thats just my opinion.

dont want to ruin the film for anyone so anyone whos watched it will know the part im on about , anyway are they british special service or merchaneries?

When you first see them I thought they might be special service, but after what happens in the film I really, really hope they were mercs!

Crappest film critique ever.
But thats just my opinion
.Definately worth watching, I hadnt heard anything hype wise before seeing it and was gripped throughout. Obviously it wont do much for those expecting your typical all action and 'splodes war movie but its all the better for it.
You honestly think so? Do you have any idea of how film production works?

great film, my favourite of 2009 by a large margin. Really puts the war into a closer perspective, sick of these bigsplosion crap fests.
great acting, good cameos. for a small budget 11million movie, i think its pretty fantastic, far better than the 2-300 million blockbusters you usually see.

An Excellent film superbly directed, some of the events are mesmerising to watch but a few bit do seem bolted in there for the sake of it.

im going to guess that he hasnt...
i imagine the tolerances on something like a sniper rifle will be so small that dried blood could easily cause a problem somewhere

Maybe im mistaken but the blood was on the bullets, blood becomes somewhat stick after awhile so it could have been stcking the bullets enough that they wouldnt slide into the breach?

Its not an easy answer it is it any good. Its good Hollywood action movie, though it pretends not to be. Its got some good moments of suspense and tension. Good camera work and sound. Thats about it.
For me the underlying themes have been done to death so often in so many war film, and tbh better films. Nothing new there. The characters are completely (yawn) stereotypical. The action scenes make no sense. The sniper scene is especially bad. That said most people have non interest in war movies, or the subject at all. So probably won't notice any of this.
So just want to entertained, it probably will do that. Its not a great war movie though.

Theres far worse problems with that scene, than the fresh blood on a magazine.
