Hope they put it together for you before it's delivered. I should think so at the price!

FYI, it's the MP4-12C, note the C. The other was a Formula 1 car from '97 iirc. Wasn't a great year either.

supposedly the 12c referes to a aerodynamics scale that mclaren use and not the previous f1 car.

Iam just hoping the rumours are true and that the version seen so far is the standard model and a gt is to be released 6 months after....

Went to view a DC2 and the owner worked for Maclaren as a buyer. Had a nice litle chat about this, and I got very very excited.

It's McLaren, people!

Anyway, loving the exploded view, and really gives a view into what makes this car so special. For the same cost as a top Ferrari, Lambo etc, you're getting a proper Carbon tub - those other companies simply can't offer that.

Remember that this will stand in the middle of their car line up. There's going to be a lower priced and finally a higher-priced mental car in the McLaren line up - fun times!

I've been lucky enough to have seen the development of this car (as a modelmaker.) Pretty interesting stuff.

For those of you interested the cgi for the website was done by 'Burrows' Hell of a lot of work was put into that...
