I am tempted by the VaporX 5870. Just finished reading a review that said the cooler on that is a fair bit quieter, and cooler, than the reference one :)

It is a far superior cooler makes a lot of difference to the card.
 
i just upped my order from 1 that i made friday morning to 2 over the phone, i think i did it in time to get both shipped at the same time = get them tomorrow :D
now i just gotta wait till next week till my ocz LE 100gb SSD arrives so i can get it al up n runnin :(
btw if the ETA of the LE SSD gets put back again let me know :/

BTW>> afaik these 5870 vaporX are rev 2 = 875 core and not 870 as advertised, u might wanna check that fatboy :)

Just changed my order to the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5970 OC 2048MB i hope in the dying minutes of today i get the dispatched e-mail :)

Then my whole new system will be on its way, as i've just been waiting for the 5970's to come into stock.
 
So tempted to get one of these Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5870 Vapor-X to replace my 275.. is it worth it fat boy, or anyone else who has gone from a 275 to one of these ? i just feel my 275 lacks some ******** with my i7 @ 3.8
And could it be overclocked higher then the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5870..

I upgraded from a 275 to a 4870x2 (got a deal) and saw a nice boost, itz on par with a 5870 minus DX11, so yeah I think u'll see a good difference
 
Think i'm gonna get it, then sell my mint boxed 275 :).. might get 2 lol
Don't tell the missus or i'm dead meat man lol what drivers on the ATI should i use Jae ? and is crossfire any good, and stable ?

hmm I'd say 9.12s but have also heard good things about the 8.70 betas, they are working really well, and yeah crossfire is working good bro, especially with i7, but one 5870 will do u for a while I reckon
