Just install water turbine generators in the pipework somewhere.
Every time you flush, it could probably generate a tiny amount of electricity.

The gratings at the ends of sewers have to be able to withstand being hit by a whole cow floating in the effluence travelling at some speed. That's some **** hitting a fan if ever I saw it
