I wouldn't go over the top... it's only a game after all! :p

It's coming out of my PS3 now, in favour of Batman, Dragon Age and Uncharted 2 which have been badly neglected since their Christmas arrival.

The final straw came last night, landing in a Dom game 100+ to next to nothing, with god knows how many air support flying about, a guy on my team with about 60 deaths and a guy on the other with about 80 kills. Like a giant cheat-fest. I'll end up hating the game like some of you lot. :D

This is why I play HC matches now, I haven't come across anyone trying to glitch or boost in any of the matches I've played recently.

I still really like the game despite the boosters and glitchers. Does annoy me when people talk about boosting (especially from people on here :rolleyes:) challenges because I really dont see the point. Do they think we will respect them more for completing them all?
 
Given up on this festering pile of crap, never seen anything like it on a console, sooo much cheating and very poor response regarding patching.

Played the demo of BC2 and it's so much more fun

You dont always get cheaters/glitchers and can have some good games.

I found BC2 to be a big disappointment to be honest. Seems more like a kids version of a FPS. ;)
 
Cheating is an unfortunate side effect of popularity. I never saw much cheating at all in PC RTCW, but its free MP only sequel RTCW:ET was awful after a while. The public punkbuster friendly aimbots had a long run. Although both games PB cvars allowed negative timenudge which screws with the interpolation.

It never went, once the 1.08? PS3 patch failed they pulled 360 version to add a new package fix. This is from the IW forums.

Note to PS3 Player: The PS3 still needs to receive one additional fix, regarding the infinite care package exploit - not included in this patch - which will come in the near future.

it's killed the game (Care package glitch), i like to play domination and am sick to death of the sky being totally full of air assets, followed by a nuke, it's stupid, boring and makes me want to throw controller through screen.

If I knew they would perma ban those who used the exploit then I would be happy, but that won't happen.

Yeah domination isnt one you want to play with the care package glitch still in use. I mostly play mosh pit so only occasionally play domination on that but it can be annoying. Funnily enough i have yet to lose a game against care package glitchers. Proves how bad these players are.

they aren't trying to win (Apart from nuke boosting), just get their own personal stats up, they contribute nothing mostly but messing it up for everyone else

Spot on. Had one if not two join a game last night. Both were 10th level prestige which on its own isn't impossible but the attitude they displayed was typical kiddy smart-ass look how awesome I am teamed with foul language. Well that and the glitched gamertag. Quite how is COD name was purple with an xbox "A" button in it and completely different to his gamertag I dont know.
 
if you play search,you can prestige so fast,well long as you get a few kills each game.I got a lad on my friends list and thats all he plays and he is 9th prestige,played it 12 days i think but his score is rubbish.I was playing it on friday night and two on my team were keep riot shield boosting,but when they were shooting each others shield they were like 10 foot off each other so i just kept running infront of there gun lol,i got loads of abusive messages but it was funny

It wouldnt supprise me in the slightest. I have just reached level 50 on the first go round. Had the game since release and play most nights for 1-2 hours. I play with the same group of friends and there are 2 or 3 who are on there 6th prestige which to me means far to much time on the xbox but depending on the game mode and how good you are level 10 isnt that much of a push.

Well I play mosh pit and I think ive been playing about 5 days and im on L37 of 2nd prestige. I do just play for the wins rather than kills/death ratio. Although i normally always finish in the top 3 from both teams. Just seems quite a task to get to L10 without boosting.

Are xbox and ps3 pts system the same? How long did you play for to reach L50?

I think my problem is I stick to one gun and try and get the 500 headshot kills for that prestige. So i miss out on the easy XP from the other guns. SCAR at the moment. Done the M41a. All without a single boost shot.

Quite enjoying this now I seem to have finally figured out how to use the pad instead of mouse/keyboard. Will certainly be purchasing this :)

I would guess they are the same, seems strange if they were not. I have just checked my stats and they are as follows:

Total play time: 1d, 12h, 38m
207,270 score
2213 kills, 1948 deaths

The highest on my friends list is currently at 14 days, 23 hours play time and on his 8th prestige if I have got the badges correct. On the global leaderboard the highest playtime is somthing silly like 35 days and level 10 prestige and the highest person on the leaderboards who I would say got there legit is rank 33 with 29 days of play.

I recently started playing mosh pit (before that it was 90% TDM and 10% Domination) and whilst I enjoy the variety it seems to attract the worst type of players. Squarky annoying kids and/or control pad warriors mouthing off to each other all the time. I never found that when I played TDM.

Not really a problem as I just mute everyone as soon a s we get a whinger!

One thing I have noticed though is that back when I only played TDM I had a modest +ve K/D ratio. After a relatively short time playing other game modes I'm well and truly in the -ve now :p
