Has anyone tried to fit a corsair H50 CPU cooler in this Antec case without modding the case metalwork. The reason I ask I know I have space for two 120mm fans at the side but one of the sides of the radiator is greater than 120mm and even Overclockers don' give a detailed dimension spec. Yes i've tried the manufacturers site and thats a bit vague. I am able to see somewhere else 5 1/2" mentioned 140mm. That being the case this unit can lie in any plane and is just achievable. Be nice not to waste money if someonee can say "Yes you can". I have to say this little 'offering' is an answer to a lot of amateur prayers:)

I think chands if I had used a more exciting heading like "Overclocked Antec Fusion case" - Which I have ~ we might have had a better response. The trick now is almost silence to enjoy a movie and a bit of fsx.:)

Thank you Baboonanza. Yes I agree with his thoughts - the challange ~ overclock budget < thats the joy of overclocking and the egineering challenge of these high gloss boxs without destroying their eyepleasing appeal. I don't think he wanted to go too far, I want to go a little further but no way will I destrioy. That Antec will take a full graphics card but I,m happy with a 4670. Heat/overclock and the challenge thats what drives me and of course the personal product which fits my needs.

That encourages me, chands. Never the less very tight fit. I haven't offered the h50 up to the case but I think the depth and thicknesss of the radiator could scupper me, as without dismantelling it looks to hit the mobo. I can us the H50 in my rampage formula ~ simulator set up. Plan B ~ revamping my my media box. I can be very impatient. When my overclocks ddon't work out. The present mobo is a recogonised bad overclocker - GA-73PVM-S2H.Maincontender in the ring ~ASUS M4A785D-M PRO micro atx

Ooops just a small detail thats a AMD board could b my first. Gets good write ups and the processor has glowing reveiws - AMD Phenom II X2 550. More power / less heat in my range / tweeking a dream with that board. My ealier philososphy about chelenge I eat my words. If I'de chosen this in the first place IT WOULD BE CHEAP LOL

It's a little pointless imo to fit a Corsair H50 in the Antec fusion, just use a mini scythe ninja, these coolers fit perfectly, it's almost as if they're made specially for the Fusion!

Apart from the fact you'll have to cut your new case, but you'd also have to mount it on the outside which will surely ruin the cases appearance?

If you want to do massive overclocks then you really don't want to be using a dedicated HTPC case?

BTW you're limited to shorter video cards unless of course you want to get the dremel out again!

Here's mine with the mini ninja, using an E7200 2.5GHz @ 3.6GHz, it's prime stable and also whisper quiet. I am using a zalman fan controller on low for the supplied 80mm heatsink fan.

Thanks coupe69. For your good work. To be totally honest I have been unlucky from the outset this started life in different forms about 12 months ago. I am using a ninja - they are so good I didn't see any difference with a noctua fan or without.Removed it for reduced noise-minimal. Two exhaust fans one on low setting~thermalright and a noctua one on sped control. Thought North bridge might be a problem fitted 40mm fan with thermal tape on top of heat sink and again fitted speed control. Saphie 4670 with after cooler and zalman control. Not happy

Never can work out how to put this info in boxes !! sorry

+1 for the Mini Ninja

Fits perfectly in my NSK2400 (cheap version of the Fusion) and cools well using just the side 120mm fans so no additional noise. Plenty good enough for mild overclocking.

The mini ninja's are perfect but trying to elimate the poor clock and intemitantly unstable FSX. I also get the tile effect when watching TV occasionally. I use an amplifier on the ariel input since digital introduction [weak signal] For info I use a Haupage TV card. Thanks Luffy

+1+1 (erm....+2?)

I've got 2x Noctua 120mm in side passively cooling my mini ninja in my Fusion.
No overclock on an E5200, but temps stay at a very acceptable level.

I am reviving this somewhat older thread. Do you think there is room next the 80mm fan mounting for another 80mm?

I am thinking that a dual 80mm radiator may fit..... I have the case but not in front of me. I will makes some measurements when I get home.
