Hot Leg - Any other fans?

I was gonna waffle on about how they're copying the Darkness and then realised that it was Justin Hawkins singing *doh*.

I was at a Stone Gods gig (supporting Airbourne) when people kept saying they sounded like The Darkness but with another singer.
I love people who don't do their research.

Yeah Stone Gods are pretty good too, they seem to take themselves a bit too seriously for my liking though. (They may not, but that seems to be their image).

Yeah, It's a shame they aren't getting a great reception. But lets face it, it was a miracle that The Darkness ever got where they were. The industry is in a sad sad state these days, and I genuinely think people have been disillusioned into thinking they like a lot of this "popular" crap, or thinking the crap out these days is genuinely good. I mean, It's hard not to when its shoved in your face at every chance. TV, Radio, Bus Stops, Internet ads, billboards. When the vast majority of music fans are all crying out for something different.

Serious is an understatement.
In Hanley the singers guitar wouldn't work properly and anybody with a brain could see it was his guitar transmitter not working.
his guitar was changed and it carried on doing it.
The Roadie bought another guitar and it still did it so at this point between songs I shouted 'It's your ******* guitar transmitter put a proper lead in'.
He looked down but took no notice and carried on with the next song and halfway through he took his Gibson Les Paul off and launched it across the stage :(
He then carried on the rest of the gig not playing guitar when all he had to do was put a proper guitar lead in.
They were still good though even with one guitar.
