Haiti - More then just an Earthquake?

But there are many easier ways of getting it. So why bother?

Lets her them then. How would the US (or any country for that matter) obtain oil from a region they have no presence/power in? Let's say Haiti did have a ton of oil offshore but couldn't come to an agreement with the US..what's the next, 'easy', step exactly?

You seem to be strongly suggesting it. Or is this just another "I don't believe this completely far fetched rubbish I am just throwing it out for comment" thread?

I've already explained the nature of my posts, i'll give you the information, i'll let you make up your own mind and i post a bit of my opinion. I think there is more to this earthquake then just a natural disaster. Maybe it was a natural disaster, but it doesn't mean aid and help is the only thing the US is sending.

But there are many easier ways of getting it. So why bother?

Why spend more money to bribe and coerce people which could cost more then using technology to do the job?

Again not saying they have a super earthquake machine, but its a nice coincidence.

Well i disagree. Why because of the OP's previous posts. if it isn't the government its aliens , if it isn't aliens its the lizard men if it isn't them its some other secret group which rules the world.

I'd like to remind you of a story about the boy who cried wolf.

Buy it from someone else?

The wolf came and ate the kids?

Buy it. Or buy the oil from whoever is no longer selling it to whomever Haiti do intend to sell it to. Even nasty evil Venuzuela still sells an awful lot of it's oil to the US.

He's not crying wolf. All he is doing is posting about things that interest him and are, to some, interesting to read. He is entitled to do that. Anyway, let's leave it there. :)

Codex Alimentarius come 2009, Are you prepared?

WHAT CODEX WILL BRING
What can we expect under Codex? To give you an idea, here are some important points:

* Common foods such as garlic and peppermint would be classified as drugs or a third category (neither food nor drugs) that only big pharmaceutical companies could regulate and sell. Any food with any therapeutic effect can be considered a drug, even benign everyday substances like water..

And he will quickly vanish from the thread.

America invaded Iraq for there oil and Afganistan for the pipeline.

Don't be naive to think the oil companies will stop at nothing to keep the profits rolling.

America was built on oil.

Iraq has the 3rd largest oil fields on earth. That makes it worth while.

But for 142 million barrels, its not worth the time or money.

If it they said it MAY have nearly a billion barrel of oil, i doubt the US would do anything until it was confirmed.

The States alone use ~25 million barrels of oil a day. That's just over a months worth, undiscovered. It is not a large quantity of oil.

I guess they need all they can get then! ;)

Besides, from my understanding, the US has more untapped oil within their own borders than the entire middle east. It would make sense to save that 'til last.

And that's helped the world's oil supplies loads, hasn't it?

Right and i guess invading countires for oil is the way to go?

Rather then i dunno, developing a new fuel?

Hey i need food, i might just come and invade your house, there is a shop not far from me though.
