Is it me or is sky crap at nights?

Iv been with with sky broadband for around 6months now. First few months where fine but now the past 2months have been crap. During the day its fine but after 5 in the after noon everything goes down hill. At first i thought it was me downloading a lot but iv been going a week with not even downloading as much as torrent file (exludeing visiting webpages etc) and my internet seems to hit a brick wall? im getting full speed during day but at night speed test doesnt like to load so i cant check...right now its kinda dead.

Anyone experience same problem?

What package are you on?

Unlimited, Everyday, Base or Connect? Are you going through LLU?

I'm on Unlimited & it is fine 24/7 to be quite frank.

i really dont know. We got feww skyplus box + movies package for a year with free daytime calls and 10meg broadband with 3gig bandwith a month.

My area just got better connection and we were the first area in my county to get sky broadband. Before we were stuck on 1meg max...

I'm on unlimited as well and it is fine all day. Could it be you are synced too high as remember line noise increases during the evening (due to increased interference from things like street lights). If you are using a router what are the line stats showing? Are you dropping connection during the evening?

connection seems to be fine (so says sky) they keep saying its bandwith problems....i only have 1 thing connected to my router ( 2 if you count my ipod ). I remember last week i wasn't on the Internet atol then on monday i signed on at about 9 at night and it was like deaf warmed up.

i have the sagem F@ST2504 router. I changed it to an old netgear what sky supplied because we complained but it made no difference.

post your router stats before the bad times and during the bad times.

Personally my sky b/band is rock solid 10mb and never any issues no matter what time of day or night.
